Dan Nixon joined Blake Friedmann Literary Agency in 2011 as assistant to Julian Friedmann and Conrad Williams, having previously gained experience with BBC Films, Number 9 Films and CrossDay Productions. He has a BA in English and an MA in Film Studies from University College London.

He continues to assist Conrad Williams across editorial and contractual aspects of his client list, but is now also an associate agent in the Media Department. He handles film and TV rights in a selection of the agency’s books as well as scriptwriters and directors across film, television and theatre. He is looking for emerging talent in all these areas, with a particular interest in sharp comedy writers and drama writers with a sense of ambition.
