Hetty Baynes-Russell is a renowned British actress. She has three Best Actress nominations for her theatre work, and has appeared alongside names including Edward Fox, Maureen Lipman and Lionel Jeffries. Her prolific television and film career includes starring with Alan Bates and Jeremy Irons in the Paramount film 'Nijinski' directed by Herbert Ross., with Sir John Gielgud in Agatha Christie’s 'Secret of the Seven Dials' for LWT, and with Pauline Collins and Michael Gambon in 'The Tropical Moon over Dorking'.

She is represented for acting by JDS Management.

Hetty has written since she was a teenager, but began writing professionally with her former husband the late Ken Russell, with whom she co-wrote on several projects including: THE INSATIABLE MRS KIRSCH, TREASURE ISLAND, MINDBENDER and ALICE IN RUSSIA LAND. She completed her MA in Creative Writing at Birkbeck in 2015 and is now concentrating on her life as a writer. She also has her own company, Palomino Productions, which is developing projects for film and TV.
