Agent: Conrad Williams
Biography: Paul’s early years left him with a profound knowledge of weaponry and a sincere desire to avoid getting shot. Two uncomfortably close encounters with The Reaper convinced him that life was far too brief and perilous to keep his dreams on hold, so he gambled his future on a maximum-effort campaign to become a professional screenwriter. He earned his first commission in 1989 and his award nominated work on some high-profile productions has won him critical acclaim. He aspires to excellence in any genre that engages his imagination and earnestly endeavours to avoid two things: banality and romantic comedy. Paul lives in Devon with his wife, a prodigiously great Dane, a centenarian cat and a couple of malingering horses.
