PHILIPPE D’IMPERIO

Philippe D’Imperio is a screenwriter who graduated from the UK’s National Film & Television School in 2021.

He was shortlisted for the BBC Writer’s voice 2023 with his deeply personal feature, STICKS AND STONES and finalist of Screenfest’s Horror Competition 2023 with his contained, Gothic Horror, A GRAVE UNSTILL. His latest feature THE KEEPER, an animated Fantasy Animation inspired by Irish mythology, is currently in development with producer Tri Moon Films.

Writing and storytelling allowed Philippe to navigate a troubled upbringing, ultimately forming a key part of his life. Philippe started his professional life in the corporate world before finally embracing his passion and venturing into the creative side of Film and TV: for the past decade, he has worked as an acquisitions and co-production specialist for leading streamers and studios, and he currently works as a Development Executive in a role that combines his creative sensibilities with his in-depth knowledge of the Film and TV landscape.

Philippe’s passion remains the development of his own stories. He draws on a wealth of life experiences and his rich heritage to create elevated, character-driven genre projects across Film & TV, always combining escapist entertainment with deeper themes to resonate with today’s cross-cultural audiences.

Philippe was born and raised in Ireland, spent much of his life in France and has Italian heritage. He currently lives in London with his Greek wife and his two boys.
