Biography: Alison is a best-selling author, writer & producer. She is Founder & Creative Director of STORYCENTRAL, a London-based entertainment studio that develops Intellectual Property with global partners in film, television, animation, publishing, advertising, branding, theme park, VR & gaming.
Her debut novel, CLASS ACT, was an Irish bestseller in 2004, with first week sales of over 10,000. She subsequently wrote LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP and THREE OF A KIND, both of which were Irish bestsellers.
Her fourth novel, THE MAN IN MANHATTAN, was optioned as a film by the MOTION PICTURE CORPORATION OF AMERICA (MPCA) in 2019, for whom Alison also wrote the script.
Alison’s first non-fiction book, THE HEART OF THE STORY, is currently in development.
As a journalist, Alison has written numerous articles for national newspapers and magazines across the UK and Ireland and was interviewed on Irish national television about her books.
Alison is the writer, co-founder & co-producer of Halloween anthology series, DARK DETOUR that debuted in 2016 and she headed up the initial writers’ room for animated TV series, STUDIO KILLERS 404 in 2020.
She is the creator, writer and producer of Harlequin Mills & Boons’ web-series, THE LOEDOWN in 2014 and her plays, A FISH & A BONSAI and PISTOLS AT DAWN were performed at The Queen’s Theatre in 2006.
