Becky and Caroline are a comedy writing duo drawn to heart-warming British comedies that have emotional depth.

Essex-born Becky spent much of her childhood on screen and stage, with lead roles for the BBC, Nickelodeon, Disney and the West End. She now manages unscripted television development, bringing experience from both sides of the camera. She has a lifelong fascination with people, what drives them and the stories they tell about themselves.

Caroline is a writer and lifestyle journalist whose work has appeared in The Guardian, The Telegraph and the Mail on Sunday. She has published a non-fiction book, ghostwritten memoirs and appeared in documentaries for Sky History, but character-led storytelling has always been her first love.

Together they write comedy about complicated family dynamics, the contradictions in how people behave, and the clash between how people see themselves and how others experience them. They both believe characters are built from small, sharp observations and funny anecdotes, and that this is where the comedy and the heart of a story come from.
