Biography: Dilichi Lawal trained and practiced as a Criminal Barrister for many years.  She spent countless hours representing and prosecuting defendants accused of crimes of varying degrees of seriousness and in that process became adept at telling stories. 

In 2022, Dilichi inspired by her daughter’s duvet cover covered in beautiful princesses, none of whom were black. Except, she started thinking: wouldn't it be great if her daughter could see herself there? If some - maybe all - of these princesses were black? She then wrote her first pilot, THE FIVE PRINCESSES, which is currently being shopped by CAA to production companies in America.

She has developed and written multiple scripts since then and is excited to see just how far her imagination can take her.
