Biography: Hannah Braithwaite is a writer and journalist whose work has been shortlisted and longlisted in competitions for emerging novelists. Hannah’s first poems were published when she was at school and her most recent short story will feature in the next issue of the literary journal Litro UK.

Hannah is editing her debut novel THE SHEPHERDESS, a folklore-infused literary love story set on an upland farm. Her writing considers how identity and the climate crisis inform our relationship with the natural world.

Hannah grew up in the North East of England and works in London, where she lives with her partner and their three children. She has more than ten years of experience writing scripts for news anchors.
