Biography: Jeanette came to screenwriting after discovering a passion for storytelling while working as a legal and police advisor for television drama. This followed a distinguished 20-year career as a Criminal Barrister, Police Officer, and Criminal Investigator. Her transition into television began when she was invited by acclaimed writer Jimmy McGovern and co-writer Helen Black to serve as a consultant on the BBC prison drama Time 2 in 2023.

Since then, Jeanette has continued to collaborate with Jimmy McGovern and LA Productions on an upcoming BBC original drama, set to air in late 2025. The untitled series, set in Liverpool, explores the impact of familial abuse and features a stellar cast including Emmy winner Anna Friel, Anna Maxwell Martin, and David Threlfall.

She is currently involved in several ongoing productions, including:

• Grace (Series 6, ITV)

• Prisoner (Sky / Binocular Films)

• Death Valley (BBC Wales), starring Timothy Spall and Gwyneth Keyworth
