Biography: Jeanette came to screenwriting after discovering a passion for storytelling while working as a legal and police advisor for television drama. This followed a distinguished 20-year career as a Criminal Barrister, Police Officer, and Criminal Investigator. Her transition into television began when she was invited by acclaimed writer Jimmy McGovern and co-writer Helen Black to serve as a consultant on the BBC prison drama Time 2 in 2023.

Since then, Jeanette has continued to collaborate with Jimmy McGovern and LA Productions on their BBC original drama, ‘Unforgivable’. The show, set in Liverpool, explores the impact of familial abuse and features a stellar cast including Emmy winner Anna Friel, Bobby Schofiled, Anna Maxwell Martin, and David Threlfall and is directed by Julia Ford.

She has also been involved in several other ongoing productions, including:
