Biography: Jessica Merry trained in Art and Design at college, and made pots for a living until the need to pay the rent led to an admin job with a mental health service. She went on to qualify as a social worker and spent more than twenty years in the profession, working with people from birth to 104, in settings from police stations to acute psychiatric wards and everything in-between.
Now that she’s escaped from casework, Jessica is back to admin and loving the headspace it gives her. As well as writing, she plays the piano, enjoys foraging for bargains in charity shops, and loves nothing better than visiting new places on a UK road-trip.
She is currently working on her debut novel, a Scottish-set colleagues-to-lovers romance.
