Biography: Julie Rea is an award-winning fiction writer from Glasgow. She is the recipient of The Scottish Book Trust Next Chapter Award and The Book Edit Writers’ Prize. She has been placed and shortlisted in many competitions, including The Bath Short Story Award, The Cambridge Short Story Prize and The Primadonna Prize. Her fiction has been widely published in literary journals and anthologies, including Gutter, New Writing Scotland and thi wurd. She has written four plays, which have been performed in Glasgow and Edinburgh, and has performed with several organisations including The Edinburgh International Book Festival, The Edinburgh International Poetry Festival and Book Week Scotland.
