Biography: Award-winning Irish writer Sheena Lambert is an award-winning screenwriter, playwright and novelist from Dublin with a growing slate of comedy and drama film and television projects attracting leading producers across Ireland, the U.S. and Canada.

Her debut feature Báite [The Drowned] earned four IFTA nominations, including for Best Feature Script, and was released theatrically in March 2026. The script also won Best Feature Script at the Writers’ Guild of Ireland (WGI) 2026 Zebbie Awards.

Sheena is also an accomplished novelist and playwright. Her novel The Lake was published by HarperCollins in 2015, and her stage play Cosima, adapted from her Screen Ireland-supported screenplay, won the 2025 Writers’ Guild of Ireland (WGI) Award for Best Theatre Script and will continue its run in London in May 2027.
