DEAD MAN'S GRIP, the 7th Roy Grace novel by Peter James has maintained the number 1 spot on the hardback bestseller lists for this coming weekend. Again it has beaten Jeffrey Deaver's James Bond novel into second place. According to Neilsen BookScan figures DEAD MAN'S GRIP has sold nearly 28,000 copies in just 10 days since publication!

Posters of DEAD MAN'S GRIP, adorn London's busiest rail and tube stations as seen in the picture here, which was taken at Victoria Station.

DEAD MAN'S GRIP follows the hugely successful DEAD LIKE YOU, which remained in the top 20 for 11 consecutive weeks, and two weeks at No 1, also reaching no 1 on the paperback charts.

Praise for Peter James:

'James is well established at the very top of the British crime tree and this atmospheric, pacy and truly gripping novel will most certainly help to keep him there.' -- The Bookseller

'A terrific thriller...DEAD LIKE YOU is a haunting page-turner that seamlessly blends psychological suspense with police procedure, echoing the heart and voices of such authors as P. D. James and Ian Rankin at their best.' -- Jeffery Deaver, author of ROADSIDE CROSSES
