BBC Radio 4: The Skool Days of Nigel Molesworth adaptation by George Poles with Patrick Barlow

December 19, 2014 Ellen Gallagher

Imelda Staunton stars as Nigel Molesworth, the Curse of St Custards, in this brand new adaptation of the notorious Goriller of 3B's guide to skool life for tiny pupils and their parents.
Aided by best friend Peason and thwarted by everyone from Grabber the skool bully to Wandsworth the skool dog, Nigel Molesworth teaches us the ins and outs of skool life - including how to avoid lessens and how to build your own H-bomb.

The Skool Days of Nigel Molesworth starts on BBC Radio 4 this Monday, 22nd December, and episodes transmit every day at 10.45am until 26th December. Tune in for your fifteen minutes of fun! Click here to stream episodes on iPlayer after broadcast.

Adapted by George Poles and Patrick Barlow from the books by Geoffrey Willans and Ronald Searle, with additional material by Abigail Wilson.

Directed by Patrick Barlow

Produced by Liz Anstee
A CPL production for BBC Radio 4.
