Peter James’ latest Roy Grace novel YOU ARE DEAD will be No.1 in the fiction hardcover Bestseller Chart this weekend. It was published on 21st May by Macmillan and has shot straight to number one, knocking Paula Hawkins’ THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN off the top spot.
Hundreds gathered to celebrate the publication at a launch party at Brighton Racecourse last Thursday.
Peter is longlisted for the Dagger in the Library Award 2015. The shortlist will be announced on 8th June. Earlier this year, Peter James was voted the ‘Best Crime Writer of All Time’ in a public poll run by WH Smiths. Peter won the poll ‘by a landslide’, beating crime heavyweights including Ian Rankin, James Patterson and even the classic Agatha Christie.
