Andy Briggs is at the Hay Festival today, for the launch of his modern-day revamp of the TARZAN franchise: TARZAN: THE GREYSTOKE LEGACY, which brings Tarzan and Jane swinging into the 21st Century. He was also interviewed for the special pull-out section in the Daily Telegraph: The Hayly Telegraph, where he was asked his opinions on the festival, computer games, his favourite children's characters and whether children grow up too fast.

Andy and Faber & Faber UK have also teamed up with EAZA (European Association of Zoos and Aquaria) and are donating a portion of Andy's royalty payments and a donation to the fund for every book printed to the EAZA Ape Conservation Fund. In return EAZA will promote the book to its members (Zoos and Aquaria Europe-wide), who will stock the book in their retail outlets (a rare opportunity for fiction!) and link zoo-based activities to the Tarzan character.

Rights have also been sold in Israel, to Kinneret.
